Inquiry:Inquiry lessons are so important for students learning. I know for my students when I taught science we did a lot of inquiry lessons and experiments. For example, a lesson taught was based on plant growth and the living environment of the plant. With SimpleBooklet, student's can record their findings and results by creating a brochure, poster or book to visually show their findings on this specific unit.
Construction:Construction takes place when students take the information learned from the lesson and apply that knowledge by constructing a visually meaningful design that shows what students have learned. Some different ways students can construct a visually appealing design using SimpleBooklet is create a Book, Flyer, Business Card, Brochure or Postcard. After constructing a project based on what students learn they can share their design on the internet by posting it to a website, facebook, a blog, iPhone, iPad for others to see.

Communication:Students can communicate what they have learned by writing a story, phrase, or key ideas in what they chose to design in SimpleBooklet. If students want to create a movie and upload the movie to make it be part of their presentation SimpleBooklet allows students to do this. This is another way students can communicate and share with others what they understand from a unit taught in class. Students can work individually on an assignment in or work in groups using this web 2.0 tool.
Expression:Students can express their understanding of a topic by what they design in SimpleBooklet. The expressions they show in the final presentation should show pictures, graphics, words, and possibly music or videos.
